St. Paul Lutheran Church
St Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton was in need of an entire new frame system for their two large chancel windows. The windows original to the church built in 1965 contained simple colored glass pieces in relatively thin frames that were beginning to sag. As part of an ongoing renovation Oakbrook Esser Studios was able to provide the church with new frames and stained glass. They had a few older stained glass windows in the church with opalescent glass, a diamond grid pattern and symbols in which they wanted the new design to complement. St Paul’s committee was involved in the window process from design to installation. Oakbrook Esser Studios also replaced the two south sanctuary window frames and will begin fabrication for the next phase of stained glass in fall 2008.
